Professional Background
Jamie-Lee completed her Jersey exams in 2022 and was sworn in as a Jersey Écrivain (Solicitor) in January 2023, a few days after joining Corbett Le Quesne. Her intention is to be sworn in as Advocate in the near future, following completion of the requisite period of time as a Solicitor.
Prior to joining Corbett Le Quesne, Jamie-Lee spent almost two years living and working in Cumbria at one of the largest law firms in the North. Before moving to England, she had worked for two other local firms where she gained invaluable experience on a wide breadth of cases. Combined, Jamie-Lee now has over 10 years’ experience in the field of family law.
Outside of work, Jamie-Lee is a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Law Jersey, teaching the Family Law Module as part of the LLB with the University of London. When she is not working or teaching, Jamie-Lee’s one year old son ensures she is kept on her toes!
Jamie-Lee specialises in private children and matrimonial finances and is able to advise on English law family matters as well as Jersey law.
