Advocate Corbett has joined a panel of international family law experts discussing how people can locate assets in each jurisdiction in preparation for financial hearings. 

The International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) Conference runs over four days and brings together leading family lawyers from all over the world. Barbara is one of the only IAFL fellows in Jersey and the only family law advocate.  Membership of IAFL is by invitation only. There is a rigorous entry process designed to ensure that the high level of expertise within IAFL is maintained. Being part of the IAFL community enables Fellows practising international family law to obtain legal advice and assistance of the highest calibre in another country. Fellows, non-IAFL lawyers and members of the public alike are able to search the IAFL website for the most highly regarded international family practitioners in the countries represented. 

Advocate Kate Donohue is also attending the conference.
