Advocates Barbara Corbett and Nicholas Le Quesne are delighted to have been able to contribute the Jersey Chapter on Family Law to the International Comparative Legal Guide to: Family Law 2019.

Hard copies of the publication are printed and distributed across the globe to heads of legal, corporate officers and general counsel of the world’s leading corporations. The chapters are also accessible online free of charge.

All participating lawyers are assessed by the Global Legal Group (GLG) to ensure they meet the standard of being leading lawyers in their practice areas.

One of the purposes of the publication is to encourage participating law firms to engage with each other when seeking legal advice outside their jurisdictions, effectively creating an informal referral network.

Advocate Corbett said: “We are really pleased to have been approached by GLG to contribute the Jersey Chapter on family law. This is a leading international publication and being able to put Jersey on the map in terms of family law in an international context is great. Family law is increasingly becoming a cross jurisdictional area of law and in order for family lawyers to be able to meet our clients’ needs in the best way possible an understanding of international best practice is crucial. ”
