We are proud to announce that Advocate Barbara Corbett has been nominated for the Ally of the Year DIFERA Award with Liberate Jersey and Corbett Le Quesne has been nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ally of the Year
A public nomination for an individual who has championed a minority group or issue, or advanced DIFERA values in Jersey, whilst not being part of that minority group or being affected by the issue personally. This recipient might have campaigned or fundraised on behalf of others, or they might have done something ‘heroic’ for others, or they might be in a role at work like teaching, caring or HR where they have championed others.

Liberate Lifetime Achievement Award as decided by the Liberate Committee
The winner will be an individual or organisation that has, over many years, advanced DIFERA values in Jersey and, as a result of their efforts, the Island is a more inclusive place to live and work for people from minority groups in particular.

The award ceremony will take place on the 20th of March 2026 at the Jersey Arts Centre.

Barbara won Ally of the Year 2023.
