The team were in London this week for the prestigious FamilyLaw Awards. Corbett Le Quesne were finalists in three categories:

  • Family Law Firm of the Year - South
  • Family Law Legal Support of the Year
  • Family Champion for our Office Manager Lizzie Keogh

Lexis Nexis Family Law says: "The Family Law Awards brings the family law community together for its biggest night of the year, celebrating excellence, networking and recognising its vital contribution to society.  Now in its twelfth year, the Family Law Awards were launched in 2011 to recognise the important work of family lawyers, and celebrate their many successes and outstanding achievements."

The shortlist and winners are chosen by a judging panel made up of the heads of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, as well as Family Law editors and publishing professionals.

It was an absolute honour to be part of this celebration and we are delighted to say that we were Highly Commended in the Family Law Legal Support of the Year Category.

The Legal Support Award is designed for "a team or individual working to support the practice of family law solicitors that has demonstrated that it has provided an outstanding quality of legal service in the family law field and also displayed high levels of teamwork."

Congratulations and thank you to all the members of the support team at Corbett Le Quesne: Lizzie as Office Manager, Sarah as Private Client Manager, Anna as Head of Marketing as well as Senior Associate in the Private Client team and Katie and Jess who are paralegals working with clients and assisting with the day to day running of a busy family law office. You all do a brilliant job and ensure our clients have the best experience possible.
