We are delighted to announce that Nicholas Le Quesne has been shortlisted for the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards in the Family Law Partner of the Year Category. Nick is the only family lawyer in the Channel Islands to have made the shortlist in any of the family law categories.

The philosophy of the awards is to support future leaders, highlighting those under forty, who excel at work but also make a contribution to society.

Nick set up Corbett Le Quesne with Advocate Barbara Corbett in November 2017, at the age of 34. He is an experienced English solicitor, Jersey Advocate and qualified collaborative lawyer. Nicholas was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in September 2009 and has practised family law since then. He was sworn in as a Jersey advocate in February 2016 and qualified as a collaborative lawyer in May 2017.

Advocate Corbett said of Nick’s nomination: “We are so proud of Nick, and his shortlisting for the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards. He is a hugely committed and empathetic lawyer, who is making a big mark on the family law world in Jersey, as well as contributing to the local community and local charities. As a firm we are committed to supporting up and coming talent through work experience placements for instance, and he is uniquely placed to mentor and inspire future lawyers.”

The online public vote is open until 19th October. The online vote will count for 10% of the vote and will be taken into consideration by the judges when they come to making their final decision.   The winners will be announced at an event on 8th November.
