Advocate Corbett named as one of the top 100 International Powerwomen

Senior Partner Advocate Barbara Corbett has been named as one of the top 100 International Powerwomen of 2019 by Citywealth.
Citywealth has just unveiled their list of the top 100 International Powerwomen which "recognises women who are power players within the international community". In February this year Barbara had been shortlisted for the Inspirational Woman of the Year Award, but instead, she was surprised to receive the even greater recognition of the Editor’s Choice Award at the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards. She was also recently named a Leading Individual by the Legal 500.
There are not many lawyers on the list and Advocate Corbett is the only family lawyer. Citywealth states "These women are leading businesses, directing multinational teams, or responsible for considerable P&Ls. This ranking is not about diversity for diversity’s sake, it’s about recognizing talented wealth management professionals who so happen to be women."
Corbett Le Quesne has also been nominated for two Citywealth Awards and Advocate Corbett will be attending the award ceremony in January.
Advocate Corbett was among the top 200 last year and this year the list is even more exclusive.
